A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH RESTRICTING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES (EXCLUDING BUSES) ADJACENT TO 1601
16TH STREET BETWEEN 8:30 A.M. AND 2:30 P.M.,
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
provides, among other things, that when authorized signs are in place giving notice
thereof, standing or parking of vehicles shall be prohibited for designated days of the
week and exact hours of the day thereof as the City Council shall designate by
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to restrict the parking of vehicles, excluding
busses as follows:
1. South side of 16"' Street — from 20 feet east of the driveway at
1601 16"' Street, easterly, to 120 feet for approximately
100 feet in length.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that the parking of vehicles, excluding buses, shall be restricted between
the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, on the street segment
herein designated.
