The Board of Library Trustees is pleased to debut the
library's new Web page and online catalog.
The faster, easier library catalog is the result of a
recent software change at the Newport Beach Public
Library. The Board of Library Trustees encourage all
Newport Beach residents to use this valuable resource.

• Knowledge: Online Catalog, electronic databases, 24/7 Reference Service (Live Help);
Click on the Online catalog. Browse a list of books, videos and compact disks.
Lost your due date receipt? Click "My Account" to see what you have out and items on
hold. Create a list of interesting titles and save them in your electronic book bag.
Let Librarians guide you through the Internet via the Librarians Index to the Internet
and 24/7 reference service. Need to purchase a new refrigerator or research 2002 car
models? Head for electronic databases to find consumer information.

On Sunday, November 4, 2001, the Board of Library Trustees, with funding from the vendor,
will host delegates to the Annual Conference of the California Library Association, to
demonstrate the new system.
