CONSENT CALENDAR
S24. COUNCIL APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH THE CORDIA COMPANIES FOR
LEGISLATION ADVOCACY IN WASHINGTON, D.C. 1) Hire the firm of The Cordia
Companies, located in Washington, D.C., for the amount of $10,000 per month through
March 2002, at which time the contract would be month to month, with a 30 -day written
termination provisions and authorize the City Manager to sign the contract; and 2) approve
a budget amendment (BA -018) to appropriate $55,000 (October at $5,000 and November -
March at $10,000) from unappropriated revenue and place in Account 0100 - 0121 -8080.
S25. AIRPORT WORKING GROUP (AWG) GRANT. Authorize the Mayor to execute an
amendment to the AWG grant that would authorize the City Manager to make payments to
the full extent of the grant whenever invoices for work are submitted.
S26. COUNCIL GRANT TO CITIZENS FOR JOBS AND THE ECONOMY (CJ &E) FOR
LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY REGARDING COUNTY AIR TRANSPORTATION
ISSUES. Provide grant to CJ &E for legislative advocacy services regarding Orange County
air transportation issues. [Written information to be provided prior to Council meeting.)
