We passed Coastal last week and hope to get the permits to build from the City of Newport Beach this week. Our plans do include the repair of our dock. However, this is not expected to be completed until the end of April, 1984. I will advise you when this is done. As you are aware, the City Council Harbor Permit Policies, Section 10 (b) requires that "whenever a permittee sells the abutting upland property, a request shall be made to the City to transfer the permit., Forms for this purpose may be obtained from the Marine Department. Failure to apply for a transfer within 30 days from the date that the abutting upland property changed ownership will result in an additional fee by the City." It is our understanding that you purchased the property at #4 Balboa Coves from Stephen McNash. Therefore a transfer of the permit from Crouse to 14c Nash will have to be completed and the corresponding fee paid prior to the transfer of the permit to yourself.
