SUBJECT: APPOINTMENTS TO THE CITY COUNCIUCITIZENS ADVISORY
COMMITTEE ON INTENSE RESIDENTIAL OCCUPANCY
RECOMMENDATION:
Confirm the Mayor's appointment of the following members to the Committee:
Mayor Rosanskv
Council Member TBD
• Planning Commissioner Michael Toerge .
Board of Realtors Representative Craig Batlev
West Newport Beach Association Representative Jim Miller
Central Balboa Association Representative Louise Fundenberg
At -large member (to be announced)
At -large member (to be announced)
DISCUSSION:
On January 23, 2007, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2007 -5 establishing the
City Council /Citizens Advisory Committee on Intense Residential Occupancy.
At that time the City Clerk was directed to advertise the two at -large positions. The
deadline to apply was set as 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2007. At the time of this
report, the City Clerks office received ten (10) applications, which have all been
forwarded to the Mayor for his consideration. After reviewing those applications, Mayor
Rosansky will announce the appointees at the meeting.
