SUBJECT: Newport Beach Brewing Company, Review of Use Permit No. 3485
2920 Newport Boulevard (PA2006 -177).
At the March 27, 2007 City Council meeting, the appeal of the Planning Commission's
action related to the Newport Beach Brewing Company was considered. The Council
acted to sustain the Planning Commission's action and further modified the conditions
of approval. The draft resolution attached to the March 27, 2007 staff report supported
the Planning Commission's action and did not support the Council's ultimate decision.
As a result, a revised resolution supporting the Council's action is required. Staff and
the City Attorney need additional time to prepare a revised resolution.
RECOMMENDATION
Continue this item to the next meeting (April 24, 2007).
