Speakers are limited to three minutes.
IV. CONSENT CALENDAR
NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
All matters listed under Consent Calendar (1 -4) are considered by
the Commission to be routine and will all be enacted by one motion
in the form listed below. The Commission members have received
• detailed staff reports on each of "the items recommending approval.
There will be no separate discussion of these items prior to the time
the Commission votes on the motion unless members of the
Commission, staff or the public request specific items to be
discussed and /or removed from the Consent Calendar for separate
action.
Members of the public who wish to discuss a Consent Calendar
item should come forward to the lectern upon invitation by the
Chair, state their name and Consent Calendar Item Number, and
complete the sign -in card provided at the podium. Speakers are limited
to five minutes on agenda items.

• Letter from Mai Kai Community Association regarding the
slope across Bayside Drive from their complex.
• Letter and attachments from Ed Benson, Dover Shores Community
Board Member, regarding development of Castaways Passive Park.

upcoming projects in September.
3. Recreation and Senior Services (Reports Attached)
• Report of activities during August for these two divisions.
4. Balboa Peninsula Point Association Shower Donation (Report Attached)
Approve the donation of one beach shower on the public beach located
on the bay front side at Balboa Boulevard and Channel Avenue.

Review appeal from Sandra Glaser to retain one Fraxinus uhdei

Review appeal from Linda Kanen to retain one Eucalyptus rudis tree.
