Staff contacted Ms. Kanen who wants to retain tree, but understands and
agrees that after the hardscape is removed the tree may not be stable and will
need to be removed.
Staff is requesting that the Commission direct staff to remove the tree if after
the hardscape is removed a liability exists to the City.
Ms. Kanen has received a copy of this report and a notice of the October 1
Commission meeting, but will be unable to attend.
Very respectfully,
David E. Niederhaus
