Projects in the CIP include improvements and major maintenance on arterial highways, local streets, and alleys; storm drain and water quality improvements; harbor, bay, pier, and beach improvements; park and facility improvements; water and wastewater system upgrades; transportation safety and traffic signal improvements; and planning programs and studies. The total proposed CIP budget for the FY 2015-2016 is $ 66,660,490. As requested by the Planning Commission, staff will provide a brief overview of the proposed FY 2015-2016 Capital Improvement Program. The Planning Commission is not tasked with providing comment or recommendation regarding the CIP. This presentation is for informational purposes only. The City Council has previously reviewed the CIP on April 14, 2015. The CIP is scheduled for final adoption at the City Council meeting on May 26, 2015. The full CIP Program can currently be viewed on the City website as part of the City's comprehensive proposed budget.
