REGULAR HEARING

A. CALL TO ORDER—The meeting was called to order at 3:32 p.m.

C. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS
ITEM NO. 1 Jack's Surfboards/Jack's Girls Outdoor Sales Limited Term Permit(PA2015-077)
2727 Newport Boulevard Council District 1
Gregg Ramirez, Senior Planner, provided a brief project description stating that the request was for a Limited
Term Permit to allow outdoor sales that would use three (3) parking spaces in front of the store. The request
includes a total of nine (9) sales events, not to exceed a combined total of thirty (30) days. He stated that
these sales have been occurring for several years and that the traffic engineer and Fire Department have
reviewed the project and the design is acceptable.
Zoning Administrator Wisneski asked whether there was the possibility of making the allowance for these
sales permanent rather than the applicant having to obtain a limited term permit each year. She indicated that
City staff would look into the permit requirements.
The Zoning Administrator opened the public hearing. Seeing that no one from the public wished to comment,
the public hearing was closed.
Action: Approved

E. ADJOURNMENT
The hearing was adjourned at 3:36 p.m.

Chambers binder and on the digital display board located inside the vestibule of the Council
Chambers at 100 Civic Center Drive and on the City's website on June 19, 2015, at 3:51 p.m.
