I only see JG records from 2013 on the F drive. I have no idea where an agreement would be from 2007. From: McDonald, Cristal Sent: Tuesday, April 14, 2015 2:20 PM To: Eing, Katie Subject: C-3906 - 2007 Quiksilver/Roxy Agreement Do you have a copy I can add to our record? I know it is inactive but our records do not have this agreement. Thanks, Cristal. 1 CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CITY COUNCIL STAFF REPORT Agenda Item No. 11 January 23, 2007 TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FROM: Fire Department Steve Lewis, 644-3101, slewis@city.newport-beach.ca.us SUBJECT: Purchase of 2007 Junior Lifeguard Program Uniforms RECOMMENDATION: Award the 2007 City of Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Program uniform contract to Quiksilver/Roxy, for the total cost of $150,100 (excluding tax). BACKGROUND: The nine suppliers that were invited to participate in the bid process for the 2007 Junior Lifeguard uniform contract either participated in previous years, or requested to be included for 2007. This year's process was unique as we had more interest than previous years. The bids were Quiksilver/Roxy for $150,100, Hawaiian Islands Creations for $143,000 (excluding girl's suits, approximately a $10,000 additional cost), Hurley's bid, although lowest on face value, was non-responsive to the bid process. Paul Frank Industries bid was $153,145. All four of these suppliers can provide what we consider acceptable quality for what our participants have come to expect from our Junior Lifeguard Program. Through an established review process, we carefully looked at sample uniforms, the quote, a reference check, and past performance dealing with the City and our Program. We are confident that Quiksilver/Roxy will provide the Junior Lifeguard Program with a contemporary, durable product that will satisfy our participants and their discerning parents. Funding Availability: Self-funded through Junior Lifeguard Program registration fees. Prepared by: Submitted by: Reenie Boyer, Lifeguard Battafl'on Chief Steve Lewis, Fire Chief
