CONSENT CALENDAR 1. Minutes of March 22, 2006 Minutes approved as corrected. DISCUSSION ITEMS 1. Update on Restaurant Association/Restaurant Week Dan Marcheano gave an update on the Restaurant Association and Restaurant Week planning. Restaurant Week is being planned for January 2007 and will serve to promote and celebrate the restaurant industry in Newport Beach. 2. OC Cruiser Presentation Dave Muller introduced the OC Cruiser concept to the Economic Development Committee. O Service to residents, visitors, and Junior Lifeguard. O Three routes covering Balboa, Corona del Mar, and Fashion Island. O Passes will be available to residents and seniors. O June 2nd will be the kickoff at Peninsula Park. O Interior ad space is available. O Time - 7am to 9pm. 3. EQAC Representative's Report Cris Trapp reported that the comments on the draft EIR for the General Plan Update will be provided by June 8th ITEMS FOR A FUTURE AGENDA 1. Balboa Theater 2. Film Festival PUBLIC COMMENTS Chairman Rosansky asked Sharon Wood to give updates on the General Plan Update and ballot initiatives.
