Attendance not taken at meeting; it was open to the public.

UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. Nomination to City Council of Mr. John Hyatt as Newport Beach Association of
Realtors representative to the EDC —
The Economic Development Committee recommended that Mr. John Hyatt be appointed to
the EDC as representative of the Newport Beach Association of Realtors. My. Hyatt would
replace Mr. Roy Freeman, who has recently retired from the Association of Realtors board
and therefore resigned from that position on the EDC.
2. EQAC Representative's Report — None
1. `The High Cost of Free Parking'— Dr. Donald Shoup, Prof., UCLA (see attached PowerPoint).
