The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach met in regular adjourned session 7.30 P.M.date and place above shorin. President :,.K.Parkinson called the meeting to order and roll was called shou'ag there were present trustees 7.K.Purkinson;S.R.jumperi H.A.Robinson;C.H.17ay and G.P.C111son.Absent none. The minutes of the meeting of July 6th,wero ree.d and approved. The Fire commitee was given further time in the matt ©r 'of inspecting and reporting on the fire apparatus. The application of F.1N.Charlesworth for permission to operate a candy - .wheel and cane rack was referred to the Marshal with instructions to issue license provided there proved nothing objectionable in the Docation or devices used. Health Officer Porter called attention to the condition of the sever owned by Mr Goudge; and the Street Supt Barker was insttucted to clear same provided it occupied public streets or alleys and to go after Ur Goudge for the cost of putting same in a sanit ,3ry and servicable condition. rr Cornelius called attention to the charge made by the Taylor Auto Bus inside city limits as excessive.No action taken.
