City Hall Newport Beach,Calif.Dec 20th21915.
The Board of Trustees, of the city of Newport Beach met in adjourned
session 7.30 P.M.Monday December.20th,10'5.i - i the city hall.
President Par'sinson called the meetin& to order and the roll
called showing there were present trustees:IN.Ii.Parkinson;;.R
H.A.Robinson;C.H.i "lay and G.P.Wilson.None absent.

City Attorney Bishop reported in the matter of bay frontage and read
a proposal from Mr Irvine concerning the same which did not conform
to the a reer.ent a;. reached by his sttorney in conference with city
attorney Bishop.
wlove,d by trustee H.A.Robinson seconded by trustee C.Ii.Nay and carrie
that city attorney Bishop and Lew H.Wallace constitute a committee
to wait on Mr Irvine and insist on agreement as previously outlined
and ask that definite reply be made at once. -
A pipe: crossin., lease from the Pao Elec Ry providing for replacing
pipe line between 3rd and 4th streets Bast- Newport was laid on the
table for the present.
Deeds offered to tle city,conveying for street purposes,a portion of
lots 127 and 128 Block A,Bast- Newport,from J- .J.Schnitker;were accept
on motion of trustee G.P.i°lilson seconded by trustee S.R.Jumper and
carried;and the clerk was instructed to have same re-corded.
The matter of an inspector of the work of installing certain lamp
posts and aipottion of the unfinished lighting system was referred
the street committee with power to act on motion of trustee S.R.Jum
1second.ed by trustee C.H.Way and carried.
(Resolution 1,148 being a resolution providing for the changing of
(grade on Surf Avenue and other desiginated avenues,streets and
boulevards in the city of Newport Beach,was read for the first time
and on motion of trustee C..H.Tay seconded by trustee H.A.Robinson
Viand carried wa3 passed to second reading.
