Newport Beach Residential Noise Standard For Noise Zone 1 (residential) the N. B. regulation's daytime noise level standard (maximum noise level from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.) is 55 dBA — corrected for ambient noise. The nighttime noise standard (max noise level from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.) is 50 dBA. The measurement is corrected for ambient noise and rounded to the nearest decibel as shown below. I am pleased to report that measured pool and or spa apparatus noise meets the Newport Beach noise standard for 24-hour use. Pertinent details of my findings are reported below.
