Hi, I'm writing to inquire about the new construction project at 2642 Crestview Drive, Newport Beach in the Bayshores neighborhood. I reside next door at 2652 Crestview Drive. I'm concerned that the spec home being built by a developer is looking to maximize square footage and will include a 3rd story that will look directly into my house. I'm unclear on the new 3rd -story regulations and hope that neighbors privacy is taken into consideration when approving new developments especially those including 3rd -stories. Thank you. PCH Loud Motorcycles Mayor, Has anyone else who lives on the peninsula or near PCH noticed the increase in Motorcycle Noise. Some of theses riders are cutting through traffic and It's house shaking. Wasn't there a passed law to restrict decibel noise from cars and motorcycles? Please stop this action. Laguna gives tickets for this behavior. Our police department is failing us with your over -site. Please protect the peninsula like you do with other parts of the city. Thanks, from a native born Califonia citizen that has visited and lived in Newport for over 50 years.Marc Marc Buccheri Project Manager SC HOMES, INC phone: 949.723.4243 mobile: 949.812.0680 email: mbuccheri@schomesbuilder.com address: 3050 Pullman St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Mulvey, Jennifer From: Rieff, Kim Sent: Monday, April 27, 2020 7:57 AM To: Mulvey, Jennifer Subject: FW: Stop the banana lot project at Ensign From: Roxana Rain <rainroxana@gmail.com> Sent: Saturday, April 25, 2020 5:48 PM To: Dept - City Council <CityCouncil@newportbeachca.gov> Subject: Stop the banana lot project at Ensign [EXTERNAL EMAIL] DO NOT CLICK links or attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Hello, My Name is Roxana Rain and I am a NMUSD teacher and resident of Newport Beach. I am writing to ask the City council to stop the NMUSD Board of Education from voting on Tuesday April 28 for the implementation of the banana parking lot project. This will eliminate at least 22 mature trees from the Ensign. In addition, according to the project the lot will be placed 10 feet away from the front row classrooms with complete disregard to the emissions that will seep through the classroom doors. As the city council you have the responsibility to protect our environment and the curb appeal of our city. I am urging you to take action on Monday April 27 and stop this disaster from happening. Thank you. Roxana Rain 10
