County of Orange, City of Costa Mesa, City of Huntington Beach, City of Laguna Beach and City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore considered the terms and conditions of said agreements and said terms and conditions are reasonable and equitable; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agreements in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach. Such mutual aid shall be provided within the limits of the County of Orange on the basis of the "running cards ", and each party hereto agrees to keep the central dispatching office and the secondary dispatching office informed as to the status of all equipment available for mutual aid hereunder. In the event of dispute relative to replacement, cost, quantities, or types of consumables used, an arbitration board shall make final determination. This board, which shall serve without compensation, shall consist of three disinterested members selected by the Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors. 7. This agreement shall remain in full force until terminated as herein provided for and no termination by'any of the parties hereto shall effect this agreement as between the other parties hereto. Any party to this agreement may terminate the same by serving notice of intention so to do upon the Clerk of the governing body of each of the other parties hereto, which notice may be served by mail, and this agreement shall terminate, as to the rights and liabilities of the party serving such notice, fifteen days after the latest date of filing with any such Clerk. It has come to our attention that the executed.Agreement is not the one which was finally accepted by the cities involved. The accepted and final form, which I have enclosed, changed paragraph 6 and added paragraph 6.1.
