AGREEMENT No. 3014
Mr. Norway L. Nurlburt
City Manager
City of Newport Beach
3300 W. Newport Boulevard
Newport Beach, California
Dear Mr. Hurlburt:
Attached are the original and three (3) copies of the City -State
Agreement No. 3014 which is identical to the rough draft tbAt
was sent to you February 17, 1967.
When the Agreement is executed on behalf of the City$ please
return the original and two copies along with two certified
copies of the Resolution authorising execution of the Agreement.
One fully executed copy will be returned later for your use.
Mr. Nolan's letter of May 17, 1967 requested a reduction in the
height of fence from 6' to 4' or 51e It would be necessary to
re- evaluate the amount of State Participation and obtain the
State Aighway Engineer's approval for the change. This change
in fencing concept could delay the project from 6 to 7 months.
The green - colored mesh type fence is satisfactory. It is under-
stood that this will not change the amount of State Participation.
Thanks for three sets of prints of your PrelialAary;_ Plans.
These are being reviewed in the District. Our comments will be
forwarded to you at an early date.
Very truly yours,
A. W. ROY
