9 City has conducted extensive ir_spections of that certain
10 ouildin owned by Opener and located at 0101 East Balboa Boulevard,
11 Newport Beach, Calitornia, and has determined that said building
12 is "substandard ", as that term is defined in Section 17925 of the
13 I State Housing Code.
14 Owner has requested that City refrain from commencing
15 abatement proceedings against said building until May 15, 1967)

The parties hereto do Hereby a;ree that City will refrain
from ccmmcncing abatement Proceedings against said building in
consideration for and subject to the following conditions:
1. All present residents of the building shall vacate
the premises within two ,veeks after execution of this agreement
by GLTL2er. Subsequent to su_h two week period no one shall be
allowed to reside in said building and Owner will close, Lock and
secure said buildiD,,; to DYe,r?ent se,._e
No persons other than the present tenants shall be allowed to
occupy said building after execution of this agreement by Owner.
2. Owner shall cop-en the demolition of said building
on or before Ma ;- 1, 19,67 and shall have completed the demolition
and removal of said building' from the premises on or before May
15, 1967.

the premises within twre weeks after execution of this agreement
by Owner. Subsequent to such two week period no one skull be
allowed to reside in said building and Owner: will close, lock and
secure said building to prevent same from being used or oesupiod.
So persons other than the present tenants shall be allowed to
occupy said building after *xseution of this agreement by Owaeer.
2. owner shall commence the demolition of said buildt
on or before May 1, 1967 and shall have cawleted the,dwoIition
and removal of said building from the promises on.or before May
