Attached find an agreement for the provision of lifeguard services by your
City on certain County beaches. The agreement covers the 1969 -70 fiscal
year, and provides for payment from Harbor District funds.
Please execute the agreement and return the original copy, together with
a copy of the official action of the City Council authorizing the agree-
ment. Upon approval by the County Board of Supervisors a fully executed
copy will be forwarded for your files.
We wish to add that the recent meeting between Mr. Russell of the County
Administrative Office, Mr. Reed of your staff, and myself was most benefi-
cial. The new reporting method proposed by Mr. Reed seems well conceived
and hopefully will serve as the model for future lifeguard agreements.
Yours very truly,
