IN RE: RENEWAL OF ROAD MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY On motion of Supervisor Phillips, duly seconded and unanimously carried, the Chairman and the Clerk are authorized to sign the renewal agreement dated August 3, 1971, between the County of Orange and the Southern California Edison Company, extendin.r; the agreomcnt dated July 11, 1967, which provides for maintenance of certain co;npany roads in close proximity to the County's fire control roads, for a one -year nor.5n(i beginning July 1 1971. IN RE: RENEWAL OF AGREHHENT ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES CITY OF LA PALMA On motion of Supervisor Phillips, duly seconded and unanimously carried, the Chairman and theClerk are authorized to sign the renewal agreement dated August 3, 1971, between the County of Orange and the City of La Palma, extending the agreement dated May 15, 1962, which provides for animal control services, for a germ of five years commencin July 1, 1971. City Clerk _...� _.. f r L Ic TO: CITY COUNCIL FROM: Public Works Department SUBJECT: WATER SAMPLING SERVICES AGREEMENT RECOMMENDATION: June 28, 1971 /-/ 3 r-l-) Adopt a resolution authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute the subject agreement with the County of Orange, DISCUSSION: In the past, the Orange County Health Department has provided water sampling and bacteriological analysis services without cost to governmental agencies requesting such services. Effective July 1, 1971 the County will charge each agency the actual cost of providing the sampling and analysis services. The agreement will formalize the arrange- ments for the services. Funds have been provided in the 1971 -72 water budget to provide for the Service Agreement costs. The cost for each sample taken and analyzed is $3.57.
