Please forward to the County for execution. We have stamped
one copy for return to my office after the County signs. At
that time we will send copies of the Agreement to you, the

Subject: Execution of Agreement between City of
Newport Beach and County of Orange re-
lating to the Assignment of a Police
Officer to the Orange County Criminal
Justice Council
Attached is an agreement which will assign a Newport Beach
Police Officer to the Orange County Criminal Justice Council
for a period of six months beginning on January 1, 1973 and
ending on June 30, 1973. Since this is a personnel matter,
we are of the opinion that the City Manager is authorized to
execute the contract on behalf of the City. If you concur
with the terms of the agreement, please execute and return
to this office the original and two copies of the contract.
