The following portion of this letter when the duplicate copy is executed and returned by you with a Resolution from the City Council will constitute the agreement for the purchase. This Resolution must indicate that this property will be purchased for public purposes. The description of the public use must be specified in said Resolution. In the absence of the foregoing Resolution a clause will be added to the Director's Deed restricting the property to a public use. Should said option be exercised said Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) will be applied toward the purchase price of said property.
