Universal Building Maintenance cites a 7% increase in the Federal Minimum Wage, effective January 1, 1979, as well as other increases in their costs to provide service since September 1978 as the cause for their request to raise their fee. The increase amounts to 4.6 percent, or $108 additionally per month, from $2,338 monthly to $2,446 monthly. The yearly cost would therefore rise accordingly from $28,056 to $29,352 annually.
