Gentlemen:
As requested, a representative from COAST GEOTECHNICAL, Inc. visited the subject site to
observe pool excavations for the proposed pool on November 1, 2021.
The excavations for the proposed pool exposed competent bedrock and an approved daily
observation report was issued. It is our opinion that use of an equivalent fluid pressure of 60
pounds per cubic foot for the earth pressure for the proposed pool is considered appropriate
based on a geotechnical point of view.
