Reference:. New Sewer Improvement Permit (pc# 0046-2022)

While it may be unnecessary, I wanted to provide a cover letter with this new submittal to clarify the intent.
Originally this scope was to be part of a combo permit (pc# 2508-2021) but was subsequently separated
from that request in order to expedite approval for the sewer improvements so construction could begin on
that scope only. I don't mean to confuse anyone, but rather, intended to ensure those who might have
reviewed that plan previously that we have addressed the prior comments made there. Aside from the that,
and other minor formatting, the sewer scope/ plan remains relatively the same. (NOTE: the respective
scope will be removed from the prior permit request).
Oliver (PLUMBING):
1. Per our discussion, please see note added (on sheet 2) to ensure all grease waste line are to have
a minimum 2% slope. All slope notation(s) indicate such on the plan as well.
2. We added a Grease Interceptor schedule (on sheet 2) to identify compacity, of the specified
interceptors as request.
3. We added a general note to indicate "FOG permit through the City's Utility Department is required
to be shown to the Building Inspector at the time of final inspection." as requested (see note 5,
sheet 2).
Rodi (PUBLIC WORKS):
1. We added a note to the plans indicating "An approved encroachment permit is required for all work
activities within the public right-of-way or on City -owned utilities." (See sheet 1 — Title Sheet)
2. We revised the indication for the 6" VCP pipe servicing this address to indicate such (rather than
PVC indicated previously).
3. We added provision for a concrete pad around the proposed MH relocation near Newport Center
Drive as requested (See sheet 2 for detail added).
Hopefully I have added clarity as to our intent. Given our need and desire to obtain permit, timely, please
reach out if there is any need for further clarification or concerns I might address immediately.
