/ 1. EMT is not allowed to be exposed outside to weather NBMC 15.06.040. Add this note on plans and
revise single line call outs accordingly.
2. Verify and show main electrical service overcurrent device and buss rating. For a dwelling unit, the
sum of 125 % of the inverter(s) output circuit rating and the OCPD protection the busbar shall not
exceed 120% of the busbar rating. Breakers to be located at opposite ends of the busbar. CEC
705.12 (B).

1. The project proposes new equipment inside the garage, whereas a 17'-6" x 19' interior clear space must be
maintained for 2 -cars.
a. Please revise the garage exhibit consistent with Plan Check No. 1590-2020 (see redline).
b. Illustrate location of equipment and showing the required 17'-6" x 19' interior clear dimensions.
c. New equipment cannot be located within the 17'-6" x 19' required clear space, unless such
C equipment is mounted on the side walls 7 feet vertical clear or 4 feet vertical clear if located at the
Gy front wall of the garage (above the nose of a vehicle).
✓ d. If new equipment will encroach into the required 17'-6" x 19' clear area and the stated vertical
clearance cannot be provided, then relocate equipment outside of the garage.
