In compliance with Government Code Section 65852.2(h)(1), the City of Newport Beach is submitting
Ordinance 2020-9 (attached), which updates the ADU and JADU regulations in Title 20 (Planning and
Zoning) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code Ordinance 2020-9 was adopted by the Newport Beach
City Council on March 24, 2020.
