We are pleased to inform you that the pool equipment installation located at 1076
>r Drive in the City of Newport Beach complies with the City's 55 dBA noise limit. No
ial noise mitigation is necessary.
The installation was measured on Friday, May 20, 2022, using a Larson Davis Model 700
2 Sound Level Meter. The installation was observed to consist of two Pentair Intelliflo
ps, a Silencer air blower, and a MasterTemp 400 heater all in a side yard setback toward the
of the property. Both pumps were observed to have been wrapped in heavy furniture moving
kets. The measurement microphone was placed just over the top of the property line wall
;tly opposite the pool equipment. The measurement reported a level of 55 dBA for both
ps, the air blower and the heater unit operating simultaneously. This level complies with the
is 55 dBA noise limit.
Another Pentair Intelliflo pump is installed in the same side yard but toward the front of
property. The measurement microphone was placed just over the top of the property line wall
2tiy opposite this single pump. The measurement reported a level of 51 dBA for this pump.
