October 1, 1979 by the adoption of Resolution No. 9644.

A G R E E M E N T

THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this -2-1' �
day of il�' It �.i..., i_ , 1979, by and between the CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to
as "City," and JEAN TANDOWKY, hereinafter referred to as
"Consultant."
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, the 1980 Newport Beach City Arts Festival
will be held on May 17 and 18, 1980; and
WHEREAS, advance publicity is necessary to ensure a
successful Festival; and
WHEREAS, City desires that Consultant provide all
publicity services in connection with said Festival; and
services,
WHEREAS, Consultant desires to provide said publicity
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the
parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Consultant agrees to provide all publicity services
in connection with the 1980 Newport Beach City Arts Festival as
set forth in a letter dated September 17, 1979, from Walter Ziglar
to Mrs. Ralph Tandowsky, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a
part hereof by this reference.
2. City agrees to pay to Consultant the sum of Fifteen
Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) for said services.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have entered into
this Agreement as of the day and year first above written.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND JEAN TANDOWSKY
FOR PUBLICITY SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE
1980 NEWPORT BEACH CITY ARTS FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and Jean Tandowsky for
publicity services in connection with the 1980 Newport Beach
City Arts Festival; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of said Agreement and finds them to be satisfactory
and that it would be in the best interest of the City to
execute said Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the Agreement above described
is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
