The County of Orange (County) is in the process of transferring Tract Map 16407
within the Newport Coast Planned Community, Planning Area PA 3B-la, to the
City of Newport Beach (City). This transmittal is a part of the process of

transferring documents from the County to the City for development within the area
covered by Annexation CA01-07. Your address is included in Tract Map 16407,
PA 3B-1a, Newport Coast Planned Community, and will be included as a part of
the transfer, which is anticipated to occur September 29, 2022.
1 To prevent confusion during the transfer, residents are encouraged not to initiate
any permits with the County of Orange until after the estimate transfer date of
September 29, 2022. Any permits applied for after the transfer date, will be
I processed and issued by the City.
