Re: Addressing Assignment for 1 Clear Water

Dear Mr. Webb,
Per your request, the City has assigned an address of 1 Clear Water (IM) for the
new irrigation meter to be installed.
Please note, the address designation (IM) is for metering purposes only and
cannot be used as a unit address. Please follow the instructions of the utilities so
far as how labeling is to be handled on the meter. It is your responsibility to notify
the utility provider of the meter address.
We will advise City departments; however, it will be your responsibility to inform all
other affected agencies, such as the U. S. Postal Service, Orange County
Assessor, utilities, etc. Please be sure to notify your local telephone service carrier
so that responses to any “9-1-1” emergency calls are dispatched to a valid
address. The address numbers should be at least four inches high, of contrasting
color to their background, and clearly visible from the street.
