As requested, the City of Newport Beach is confirming and clarifying the street name and
address for the following residence. An additional single-family residence was
constructed on this property (Plan Check No. 0949-2015) following the recordation of Lot
Line Adjustment No. LA2014-002 (PA2014-128), which reconfigured the two underlying
legal lots at 214 Via Mentone.
Addressing is as follows for the new residence:
APN 423-224-12 – 212 Via Mentone
Address numbers should be at least four inches high, of contrasting color to their
background, and clearly visible from the street. We will notify City departments; however,
it is your responsibility to advise all other affected agencies, such as the U. S. Postal
Service, utilities, Orange County Assessor, etc. Please be sure to inform the local
telephone service carrier so that responses to any “9-1-1” emergency calls are dispatched
to valid addresses.
