THIS AGREEMENT, is made and entered into this day of
1986, by and between the COUNTY OF ORANGE, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY",
and the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, hereinafter referred to as "CITY",
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, CITY owns and administers sewer facilities located in Campus
Drive within the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
which right of way is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached
and by this reference incorporated within; and
WHEREAS, COUNTY owns a portion of real property located on the north-
west corner of Bristol Street North and Campus Drive, known as Airport
Maintenance Facility; and
WHEREAS, Airport Maintenance Facility is located outside the City boun-
dary of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, COUNTY desires to connect a six (6) -inch sewer lateral to
CITY's sewer main in Campus Drive; and
WHEREAS, CITY desires to condition approval of the sewer lateral con-
nection into CITY's sewer main; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to execute an agreement providing
for fulfillment of the conditions required by CITY to permit COUNTY to connect
to CITY sewer;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the provisions herein contained,
the parties do hereby agree as follows;
1. COUNTY shall be permitted by CITY to use CITY sewer for disposal of
sewage from the 5,000 -square -foot Airport Maintenance Facility as shown on said
map marked Exhibit "A" hereto.
2. COUNTY shall connect no additional areas into the six-inch sewer
lateral without prior written approval of CITY.
3. COUNTY shall pay sewer connection fee per Section 14.24.050 of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code.
4. COUNTY shall pay sewer use fees to the City of Newport Beach as
required per Section 14.24.065 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.

that does not meet the City's minimum standards as established by Section 14.28
of the Municipal Code.
7. The term of the permit shall be for 20 years and may be renewed at
the City Council's discretion.
8. All construction within Campus Drive shall be done in accordance
with requirements placed by the Public works Department and Traffic Engineer.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be
executed the date and year first hereinabove written.
