SUBJECT: RESULTS OF ACOUSTICAL CERTIFICATION MEASUREMENT
FOR 1215 MARIAN LANE -- CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
Dear Mr. Garcia:
We are pleased to inform you that the pool equipment installation located at 1215 Marian
Lane in the City of Newport Beach complies with the City's 55 dBA noise limit. No additional
noise mitigation is necessary.
The installation was measured on Thursday, January 147, 2023, using a Larson Davis
Model 700 Type 2 Sound Level Meter. The installation was observed to consist of a single
Pentair Intelliflo pump and a MasterTemp heater, all located in a fenced surround against the rear
of the residence and a fair distance from any common property line. The measurement
microphone was placed at the top of the nearest property line wood fence directly opposite the
pool equipment. The measurement reported a level of 44 dBA for the pump and heater unit
operating simultaneously. This level easily complies with the City s 55 dBA noise limit.
