ORDINANCE NO. 860
AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
CONSENTING TO THE ES-
TABLISHMENT OF A POR-
TION OF JAMBOREE ROAD
WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW-
PORT BEACH AS A COUNTY
HIGHWAY.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council
of the City of Newport Beach
hereby consents to the establish-
ment of all of that portion of
Jamboree Road lying within the
city limits of the City of New-
port Beach as a county highway
during the period of improve-
ment of said road by the County
of Orange.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach. This Ordi-
nance is adopted for the purpose
of permitting the improvement
of that portion of Jamboree Road
within the City of Newport Beach
by Orange County, under the
provisions of Article 3, Chapter 9,
Division 2 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of
California and shall be effective
upon adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced
and adopted at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach held on
the 8th day of September, 1958,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: HART,
LORENZ, SOMERS, KINGSLEY,
ATKINSON, HIGBIE, STODDARD.
NOES COUNCILMEN: NONE.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: NONE.
