AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT B E A C H
AMENDING SECTION 9102.1,
REPEALING SECTION 9104.0,
AND ADDING SECTION
9104A TO THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE __ - ---------- — --------- -
RELATING TO PLANNING
AND ZONING.
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does :ordain
as follows-
SECTION 1. Section 9102 -1 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code . is amended to read:
"SECTION 9102.1. In ; ad-
dition to the general districts
established above, __ the fol-
lowing special disticts are
established which, when com-
bined with the above general
districts, establish additional
special regulations: Combin-
ing or 1-B- Districts — Com-
bining or ' -H' Districts —
Combining or '-Z' Districts
Combining or ' -IIL' Dis-
tricts-"
SECTION 2- Section 9104.0 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code Is repealed.
SECTION 3. Section 9104.4 is
added to the Newport Beach
Municipal Code to read:
"SECTION 9104 -4- COM-
bluing or ' -111.' District.
The maximum height limit
In feet established for the
R.4 and C -O Districts, re-
spectively, shall not apply In
such districts with which are
combined the ' -IIL' District.
The height limit in such com-
bined districts shall be limit-
ed. only by the formula based
upon the ratio of floor space,
to - buildable area established
for each such district. All
other provisions of t his
_ Article .for each such dis-
trfct shall apply!' — -
SECTION 4. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its adop-
tion.
This ordinance was introduced'
nt a regular meeting.of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 27th day of
November, 1961, and was adopted
on the 11th day of December,
1961, by the following vote, to-
wit:

Atkinson, Cook, Stoddard,
