ESTABLISHING A SETBACK
LINE AND AMENDINCrADIS-
TRICT MAP NO. 1.
The City Council of the City

SECTION 1. District Map No.

of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code and made a -part of Arti-
cle- IX of said Code is amended.
and the follovdeg builuing set-
back line is hereby established
for the hereinafter described
real property in the City of New -
pnit Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, as follows:
The front building set-
back line along the westerly
sidr of Prospect Street for
Lots 13 and 14, Block 25,
Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block
24, Lots -16, 17, 18 and 19.
Block 15, Lots 9, 10, 11 and
12, Block 16, Lot 1 and the
southerly .6.00 feet of Lot
4, Block 17, and the north.
PAY 20.00 feet of a portion
of a ,street formerly known
a.s Lancaster Street (aban-
doned by City Council Res-
olution No. 5174), Tract
772. as shown on a map re-
corded in Book 23, pages 5
and 6, of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, shall be
five (5) feet.
SECTION 2. The Planning
Director of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and
directed to change District Map
No. 1 so as to show the building
j setback line established in Sec-
' tion 1 hereof, and, as said Dis-
trict Map shall have been so
amended, the -same shall remain
in full farce and effect and be
a part of Article IX of the New-
__ port: Beach Municipal Cnde.
SECTION 3. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall he effective
30 days after the date of its
adoption.
This ordinance was introduc-
ed at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of New-
port Beach held on the 11th day
of December, 1961, and was
adapted on the 26th day, of De-
cember, 1961, by the following -
vote, to wit:
