HomeMy WebLinkAbout1238 - Sale of Food on Public StreetsTHS °mec 10/30/67 ORDINANCE NO. 13 ,6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SECTION 5004.350 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE SALE OF FOOD PRODUCTS ON PUBLIC STREETS The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does ordain as follows: SECTION to Section 5.04.350 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code is amended to read: "5.04.350 Selling Food Products on the Streets Prohibit' No person shall engage in the-Fu-siness of selling any beverage, food or food product of any kind intended for immediate consumption on the public streets or sidewalks in the following areas within the City: Area to That area bounded on the west by the westerly city limits, on the north by the north- erly right of way line of Pacific Coast Highway, on the east by the easternmost right of way line of Newport Boulevard, on the southeast by 20th Street, and on the south by the line of ordinary high tide of the Pacific Ocean, Area 20 That area bounded on the west by the westernmost right of way line of 20th Street, on the north by the line of ordinary high tide of Newport Bay, on the east by the easternmost right of way line of G Street, and on the south by the line of ordinary high tide of the Pacific Ocean. This section shall not be construed to restrict the sale of food products in any of the above described areas of the City when delivered to private premises," SECTION 20 This ordinance shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec- tive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
