ORDINANCE N0, 1283
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADDING
• SECTION 5008,052 TO CHAPTER 5,08 OF TITLE 5 OF THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE SETTING LICENSE FEE
FOR PET ZOOS
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1, Section 5,080052 is added to Chapter 5008
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code to read:
"5.08.052 Pet Zoos, The license fee for a pet zoo shall
be $35000 per year for each separate location at which the
animals are exhibited,"
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 7th day
of October , 1968, and was adopted on the 28th day
of October , 1968, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN,_ McInnis, Shelton, Parsons,
Marshall, Rogers, Hirth, Gruber
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
