• LINES OF COUNCILMANIC JISTaICT NUMBER SEVEN
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Newport Beach
provides that when any territory is annexed to the City the City
Council shall by ordinance add the territory to an adjacent
district or districts; and
WHEREAS, certain territory referred to as "Annexation
No. 62, Upper Harbor View Hills, Phase IV has been annexed and
is adjacent to and should be included in the Seventh District; and
WHEREAS, the description of the boundary line of she
Seventh District as set out in Ordinance No- 1231 should be
revised to make it more certain;
Nona, THEREFORE> the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The boundaries of the Seventh District are
hereby changed and redefined and the territory referred to is
"Annexation No. 62, Upper Harbor View Hills, Phase K" is hereby
added to the Seventh District so that said Seventh District, as
set out in Ordinance No. 1231, is hereby revised to read as
follows, and said district shall include all that portion of
the City included within the following described boundary line,
to fit:
Beginning at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard
and East Coast Highway; thence Northerly alcaS Haci:rLhur

and Southwesterly along last said boundary line to the
Northerly boundary line of Annexation Yo. 57 of the
City of iv'cti;port Beach; thence Southeasterly and Southerly
along said boundary line to the mean high tide line of
the Pacific Ccean; thence :destesly along the mean high
tide line to the prolongation of the common lot line
between Lots 16 and 17, Tract 1026; thence Northerly
along said prolongation to said common lot line; thence
Northerly along said common lot line and its Northerly
prolongation to Marguerite Avenue; thence Northerly
along Marguerite Avenue to East Coast Highway; thence
Northerly along Bast Coast Highway to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspape-r.of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
