ORDINANCE NO.
1312
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT
MAP NO. 24
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
to wit:
That portion of Lots 8 and 9, Tract No. 3232, in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map filed in Book 99, pages 49
and 50 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southwesterly boundary
of said Tract No. 3232, being also the U. S. Bulkhead
Line of Newport Bay, as shown on said tract map,
distant thereon North 30° 00' 00" West 78.00 feet
from U. S. Station 103; thence South 30° 00' 00"
East 78.00 feet along said Southwesterly boundary
and U. S. Bulkhead Line to said U. S. Station 103;
thence South 170 30' 00" East 472.03 feet along the
Westerly boundary of said.tract being also said U. S.
Bulkhead Line; thence leaving said Westerly boundary
and U. S. Bulkhead Line North 720 30' 00" East 118.82
feet to a line parallel and concentric with and
distant 100.00 feet Westerly from the Easterly
boundary of said tract; thence along said parallel
and concentric line the following courses and dis-
tances: North 80 01' 40" East 123.85 feet to the
beginning of a curve concave Westerly having -a radius
of 275.00 feet; Northerly 176.31 feet along said curve
through an angle of 36° 44' 00 "; North 280 42' 20"
West 195.14 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
Southwesterly having a radius of 875.00 feet;
Northwesterly 108.87 feet along said curve through.
an angle of 7° 07' 43" to a point which bears North
600 00' 00" East from -the point of beginning, a radial
to said point bears North 54° 09' 57" East; thence
South 600 00' 00" West 148.56 feet; more or less, to
the point of beginning.
as shown on District Map No. 24, referred to in Section 20.06.030
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such reference made
a part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned from a C -1 -H
District to a "U" District, and said District Map No. 24 is
hereby amended to show this zoning change.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of
Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change District
Map No. 24 so as to show the zoning changes described in Section 1
hereof, and, as said District Map shall have been so amended,
the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of
Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
25th day of August , 1969, and was adopted on the
8th day of September , 1969, by the following vote, to
wits
