AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT MAPS
NOS. 39, 49, 509 539 542 55 AND 56
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
That portion of Blocks 55, 56, 92 and 93 of Irvine's
Subdivision in the City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, as per map filed
in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in
the office of the County Recorder of said County
bounded on the Northeast by the southwesterly right
of way line of Ford Road, 84.00 feet wide, as it
now exists; on the southeast by the northwesterly
right of way line of MacArthur Boulevard, 100.00
feet wide, as it now exists; on the southwest by
the northeasterly right of way line of San Joaquin
Hills Road, 145.00 feet wide, as it now exists and
on the northwest by the southeasterly right of way
line of Jamboree Road, of variable width, as it now
exists;
as shown on District Maps Nos. 39, 49, 502 539 54, 55 and 56,
referred to in Section 20.06.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code, and by such reference made a part of Title 20 of said
Code, is hereby rezoned from an Unclassified "U" District to a
Planned Community "PC" District, and said District Maps Nos. 39,
49, 50, 53, 54, 55 and 56 are hereby amended to show this
zoning change.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of
Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change
District Maps Nos. 39, 49, 50, 53, 54, 55 and 56 so as to show the
zoning changes described in Section 1 hereof, and, as said District
Maps shall have been so amended, the same shall be in full force
and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
8th day of December 19 69 , and was adopted on the
22nd day of December , 1969 , by the following vote,
to wit:
