ORDINANCE NO. 19 5 2
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT
MAPS NO. 50 AND 52
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
That portion of Block 96, Irvine's Subdivision in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map filed in Book 1, page 88, Miscel-
laneous Record Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
Pacific View Drive with the center line of Marguerite
Avenue as shown on a map filed in Book 7, page 42, Parcel
Maps in the office of said County Recorder, thence along
the center line of said Marguerite Avenue, the following
courses and distances: South 14° 40' 55" West 55.00 feet
to the beginning of a curve concave Northwesterly having
a radius of 330.00 feet; Southwesterly* 229.49 feet along
said curve through an angle of 39° 50 41 "; South 54' 31' 36"
West 209.83 feet to beginning of a curve concave Southeasterly
having a radius of 300.00 feet; Southwesterly 222.88 feet
along said curve through an angle of 42° 33' 59 "; South
110 57' 37" West 89.93 feet to a point on the center line of
San Joaquin Hills Road as shown on said map, said point being
on a curve concave Northerly having a radius of 2200.00 feet,
a radial to said point bears South 12° 30' 32" West; thence
Easterly 405.54 feet along said curve and center line, and
the center line of said San Joaquin Hills Road as described
in a deed recorded in Book 9060, pate 934 Official Records
of said County through an angle of 10 331 42 "; thence
South 880 03' 10" East 118.14 feet continuing along said
center line; thence North 10 56' 50" East 64.00 feet; thence
North 140 40' 55" East 582.82 feet; thence North 75° 19' 05"
West 226.54 feet to the point of beginning,
as shown on District Maps No. 50 and 52, referred to in Section
20.06.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such
reference made a part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned
from an R -3 ®B District to an R ®3 District, and said District Maps,
Nos. 50 and 52 are hereby amended to show this zoning change.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change District Maps

No.. 50 and 52 so as to show the zoning changes described in
Section 1 hereof, and, as said District Maps shall have been so
amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a
part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 24th
day of August , 1970, and was adopted on the 14th day
of August , 1970, by the following vote, to wit:
