AN ORDINANCE OF
ZONING PROPERTY
MAP NO. 50
NO. 1622
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH RE-
AND AMENDING DISTRICTING
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
to wit:
Being a portion of Block 93 of Irvine's Sub-
division, in the City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, as said block
is shown on a,map recorded in Book 1, page 88
of Miscellaneous Record Maps, records of said
Orange County, California described as follows:
Beginning at the southerly corner of Parcel 1 as
said Parcel 1 is shown on a map filed in Book
61, page 41 of Parcel Maps, records of said
Orange County; thence along the westerly bound-
ary of said parcel and the westerly boundary
of Parcel 2 as shown on said Parcel Map, North
23 °18'36" West, 774.28 feet to a point on a non -
tangent curve in the southeasterly right -of -way line
of MacArthur Boulevard as described in a.deed
recorded in Book 1047, page 557 et seq., Official
Records of said Orange County, said curve being
concave southeasterly and having a radius of
1950.00 feet, a radial line of said curve from
said point bears South 40 °00'03" East, thence
southwesterly along said curve 322.20 feet
through a central angle of 9 °28'01 ", to a non -
tangent line parallel with and 300.00 feet
westerly from the westerly boundary of said
Parcels 1 and 2; thence non - tangent to said curve
along said parallel line South 23 °18'36" East,
557.34 feet to a point on a non - tangent curve,
concentric with and 50.00 feet northerly from the
centerline.of MacArthur Boulevard, (proposed)
as shown on a map of Tract No. 6385, recorded in
book 235, pages 1 through 5, inclusive, of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
said concentric curve being concave southerly
and having a radius of 1350.00 feet; thence
easterly along said concentric curve 117.95 feet
through a central angle of 5 °00'22" to a tangent
line parallel with and 50.00 feet northerly from
said centerline of MacArthur Boulevard (proposed);
thence along said parallel line North 85 058141"
East, 197.80 feet to the Point of Beginning.

as shown on Districting Map No. 50, referred to in Section
20.06.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such
reference made a part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby
rezoned from the R -1 -B District to the R -A District, and said
Districting Map No. 50 is hereby amended to show this zoning.
SECTION 2. The Director of the Community Development
Department of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed
and directed to change Districting Map No. 50 to show the zoning
changes described in Section 1 hereof, and as said Districting
Map shall have been so amended, the same shall be in full force
and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 27th
day of May, 1975, and was adopted on the
