AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
• REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICTING
MAP NO. 53 AND MAP NO. 64 (BROADMOOR-
PACIFIC VIEW)
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach
DOES ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
That portion of Blocks 92 and 97 of Irvine's
Subdivision, in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 1, page 88 of
Miscellaneous Record Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of that
certain land described in a deed to the Irvine
Company, recorded August 11, 1971 in Book
9756, page 527 of Official Records of said Orange
County, said corner also being in the northeasterly
line of that certain land described in a deed to
Pacific View Memorial Park, recorded January 10,
1962 in Book 5970, page 522 of Official Records
of said Orange County; thence along the westerly
boundary of said land of Irvine Company the
following courses: South 8 °34105" East, 453.69
feet; thence South 32 "18123" West, 358.12 feet;
thence South 72 022140" West, 89.19 feet; thence
South 46 °39'37" West, 97.62 feet; thence South
41 018131" West, 87.86 feet; thence South 28 006'23"
West, 99.77 feet; thence South 2 055115" East,
140.34 feet; thence leaving said westerly boundary
South 73 °19'47" West, 838.34 feet to the south-
easterly terminus of that certain course in the
westerly boundary of said land of Pacific View
Memorial Park described as "North 55 019142" West,
982.66 feet "; thence along the westerly north-
westerly and northeasterly boundary of said land
the following courses: North 55 °19'05" West,
982.66 feet; thence North 45 020136" East, 1923.47,
feet; thence South 49 026133" East, 816.84 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
as shown on Districting Map No. 53 and Map No. 64, referred
to in Section 20.06.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code,
and by such reference made a part of Title 20 of said Code,
is hereby rezoned from the "U" District to the "P -C" District,
and said Districting Map No. 53 and Map No. 64 are hereby
amended to show this zoning.
SECTION 2. The Director of the Community Development
Department of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed
and directed to change Districting Map No. 53 and Map No. 64
to show the zoning changes described in Section 1 hereof, and
as said Districting Maps shall have been so amended, the same
shall be in full force and effect and be a part of Title 20
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
22nd day of December , 1975 , and was adopted on the
12th day of January , 1976, by the following vote, to
wit:

Kuehn, Rogers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: Dostal . RVckoff, . Store
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
