AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 5.34.040 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE FEE CHARGED
FOR APPLICATION FOR PERMIT IN CONNECTION
WITH POOL TABLES AND AMUSEMENT DEVICES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach
DOES ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5.34.040 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"5.34.040. Application for Permit. Applications
for such permits shall be filed with the City Manager on
forms supplied by the City together with an application
fee of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) to cover the costs of
processing and investigating. The application shall contain
such information as may be deemed necessary by the City
Manager and shall be signed and verified by the applicant.
The City Manager may require that the applicant and the
iperson or persons responsible for the management or
operation of the premises be fingerprinted."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the loth
day of �MAZ , 1976 and was adopted on the 24th-' -day of
