AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 12.24.100 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH A SPEED
LIMIT ON VISTA DEL ORO FROM VISTA DEL SOL
NORTHERLY TO EASTBLUFF DRIVE
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.24.100 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"12.24.100 Prima Facie Speed Limit -- Twenty -five
Miles Per Hour. The prima facie speed limit on the
following named streets or parts thereof shall be twenty-
fives miles per hour:
Balboa Boulevard from West Coast Highway to Alvarado
Street.
Back Bay Drive from its southerly intersection with
Jamboree Road to its northerly intersection with
Jamboree Road.
Riverside Avenue from West Coast Highway to 250 feet
west of Tustin Avenue.
Newport Hills Drive East between Ford Road and Port
Laureat Place.
Newport Hills Drive West between Ford Road and Port
Hemley Circle.
Vista Del Oro from Vista del Sol northerly to Eastbluff
Drive."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 14th
day of June , 1976, and was adopted on the 28th
day of June 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
