ORDINANCE NO. 1699
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING SECTION 12.56.190 ENTITLED "MOTORIZED
BICYCLES" TO CHAPTER 12.56 (BICYCLES -
REGISTRATION AND REGULATIONS) OF TITLE 12
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.56.190 is added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read:
"12.56.190 Motorized Bicycles. The licensing
requirements of this Chapter are applicable to motorized
bicycles as that term is defined by the California Vehicle
Code."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
12th day of October , 1976, and was adopted on the
26th day of October
